Perfect White is a structural position within the color logic of NM. In this system, it occupies the first point — the ultimate degree of nullification of differences.
White in this context is associated with fragility and the limit of saturation. It is a state that emerges after distinctions have been washed away.
In the optical model, white represents the sum of all wavelengths. In the pigment model, it is the absence of color. This duality is fundamental: white signifies both absolute fullness and absolute emptiness. It is conceived as the outcome of a process, a state reached after the collapse and summation of differences.
Perfect White marks the limit of the spectrum. In signal theory, white noise is a uniform distribution of frequencies without a structural center. No single frequency dominates, hierarchy dissolves, and no fixed center remains. Within this uniformity, the privileged point disappears.
Light fills space to such an extent that contrast vanishes. Without contrast, distinction cannot exist. Without distinction, the subject cannot exist.
Perfect White is the state following the dissolution of the subject. It is a space in which the “I” loses centrality. What occurs is the stabilization of the subject’s dispersion within a field that contains no dominant axis.
